Value for money is a personal thing depending on so many variables that I can't answer that question for you. What I can say is that I find $69.97 quite a steep price (especially given the Australian exchange rate which knocks me about). However, if you can use the bonuses, especially bonus two of a free AdSense critique, it could represent value for money. The free critique and one-on-one support could be worth thousands ... if you make sure you use it.

Also, there are numbers of links within the text that lead to free utility programs etc that add value to your purchase.

And the Negatives?

In my opinion the only negatives are that the ebook isn't as professionally presented as it could be (given the price) and that the downloading process is convoluted. Having said that, if you are looking for content and don't care if the format and layout is ordinary, then presentation of the ebook won't matter. As for the downloading, it involves completing a subscription box and sending an email from a post-payment page to retrieve a link to another page from which the downloads can be made. But before the final download step, one has to confirm the email details. All of this could be prevented if the download page presented immediately after purchase.

Conclusion

If you want to learn how to establish or increase an AdSense PPC stream of income, this book certainly delivers the goods and will give you a good start.

There are dozens of things you can do today to generate income almost immediately. Add to that the bonuses, especially the one-on-one support and you will be well on your way to joining those of us who earn income from AdSense for doing nothing but placing links on our sites.

How to Increase Your Google Adsense Income Overnight

If you've been using Google Adsense already, you'll know that there are different advert formats that you can try on your website.

The most important thing that you can do to improve your Google Adsense income is to increase the click-through rate or CTR

For example,

Which would you rather have?

Google Adsense does not allow detailed discussions of actual CTR's but implementing the following hints and tips improved my Adsense income, literally overnight.

If you are using the Leaderboard, Banner or Skyscraper adverts, then you are not using the most effective advert, in terms of CTR.

By using the 336 x 280 Large Rectangle and 250 x 250 Square, you will instantly improve your CTR.

Changing the colours of the text and background of your Google adsense advert can also improve CTR. You can do this by visiting colour palettes on the "Adsense for Content" page.

If your page background is coloured, then changing the background colour of your advert to match, making the advert blend in on the page, once again improves your CTR.

Advertising Layout For Maximum Google AdSense Revenue

The layout of advertising campaigns is also important. If you go to the Google AdSense help area, they have a "heat map" that shows the different areas and their probability of higher performance on a scale of 1 to 5. Number 1 is right smack in the middle of the page, where they list the primary content should end up. Next up is directly to the left of that area. Google, interestingly enough, thinks the top left corner is number three, along with the top of the page, the bottom left, and the middle right. The top right of the page is the weakest area to advertise, according to Google. But, even they believe that this map shouldn't be used to determine where to put your ads, only to know what the average profitable layout might end up being. The problem is that there is no "average" site on the WWW. They're all unique.

What makes a site unique is the demographic it attracts, the niche it has developed, and the types of products and services it offers. So, even if the heat map can give you a general idea of what works most of the time, it doesn't mean it will work for your site. You have to try a few strategies and then track them carefully to see what is working best for your audience and target niche.

People also want to figure out what size advertisement and whether multiple ads are better than single product ads. Again, it all depends on some testing for your particular site. It is known that multiple ads tend to serve up cheaper ads because there are more of them. However, if you are in a great niche, that may not be such a problem. I can tell you what has worked for me, but that may be different for your site as your audience and niche will be different.

So, to recap...

What is the best place to put your advert on your blog to attract best CTR?

At the beginning of your blog, above the fold like my blog, and to a certain extent you can also put another advert below the article as many people finish reading the article and then click somewhere.
